Glenn Jacobson is Managing Partner of Greenbelt Capital Partners. Glenn has over 20 years of investment experience across the energy landscape. Prior to the founding of Greenbelt Capital Partners in 2021, Glenn was a Partner and Investment Committee Member at Trilantic North America, which he joined at its inception in 2009. Prior to Trilantic North America, Glenn was a Principal in Lehman Brothers’ private equity business. Prior to entering the private equity industry, Glenn began his career in Lehman Brothers’ Global Natural Resources investment banking practice in New York, where he focused on M&A and capital markets transactions in the energy sector.
Glenn holds a B.A., cum laude, in Economics from Dartmouth College. Over the course of his private equity career, he has served as a director or board observer for more than 25 portfolio companies spanning the energy industry and was recognized in Hart Energy’s 40 Under 40 list of emerging leaders in the sector. Glenn participates in several industry thought leadership groups and has been a speaker at various industry conferences, including The Aspen Institute and SuperReturn, among others.
