Tim Harrington

Tim Harrington has over 43 years of oil and gas experience and is a seasoned independent director and executive advisor who previously also served in the C-Suite as both a CEO and a CFO. Tim spent the majority of his career with BP PLC and held numerous leadership positions around the world including postings in Houston, Anchorage, Bogota, and London. From 2010 through 2014 he was President and CEO of BP America Production Company (now BPX Energy), which was BP’s Onshore Upstream US business, and he was the CFO of that same business from 2001 until 2010.
Since leaving BP, Tim has been active in board service, energy advisory, and executive coaching, including previous energy advisor roles with Mercuria Energy Trading and Trilantic Energy Partners, along with past independent director roles at Phoenix Global Resources PLC (LON:PGR), EnergyFlo Chemical Applications LLC, and TRP Energy LLC. He currently serves as an independent director of DJR Energy LLC and is a Greenbelt Capital Partners Operating Partner.
Tim is currently a member of the National Association of Independent Directors (NACD) and was a past director and executive committee member for the Texas Oil & Gas Association (TxOGA) and the Greater Houston Partnership (GHP).
Tim graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a BS is Accounting and then received an MBA from Xavier University, and later earned a CPA certification in Texas.
